On 25-26th June 2009 we passed beyond a very important threshold , milestone for us, indeed. We  had proved ourselves about Nuss operations just in Turkey since before. After then we proclaimed and announced it to all over the world. Thus,all the world noticed what we had done and what we would be able to achieve. As you know,eighteen foreign trainees, ten foreign lecturers and  totally about a hundred surgeons attended to the workshop. The course occurred in the atmosphere  of vigorous discussions and debates for the new practices and innonative procedures In addition the social programmes maintained a better ambience between the lecturers and the trainees. Next year it will be  Dokuz Eylül University Thoracic Surgery Department's turn to conduct the workshop. Dr.Ahmet Önen is going to organise the 3rd International workshop on the Repair of Chest wall Deformities. We wish him good luck.
